[Rollei] Advice needed

Please take a look at the following scans.  The photo was taken with a
2.8C, Rolleinar 2, f11, bounce flash with a bit of direct light spilling
over.  Rather than the catch light being a spot in the eyes, it is a
large ring with distinct aperture edges.  Can anyone suggest a way to
avoid this, or will I have to live with this when using Rolleinars?
