I thought the old Elmar 50 had a marked stop at 6.3 - the only reason I
remember is that my standard sunlight exposure in the late '50s on the
Kodachrome of the day (ASA 8? 10? 12?) was 1/100 his was the rule
of thumb for use at altitude in Colorado - I had no meter until many years
later. Most of the slides came out fine, BTW - I didn't know at the time
about the narrow exposure latitude of transparency film.
